poke cake

This is what I made for AH's birthday cake.  He loved it and so did the guys he works with, that's where all our left overs and bad for you food goes, they'l eat anything.

1 box chocolate cake mix make according to the directions on the box and bake in a 9X13 pan
when you take it out of the oven poke holes all over with the handle of a wooden spoon.
1 small box instant chocolate pudding mix mix according to box directions and pour over hot cake.  Refrigerate until cool.
Spread with a container of cool whip and then grate or crumble a chocolate bar over the top.
In my own defense I did use sugar free/fat free pudding mix, low fat milk and sugar free cool whip so it wasn't as bad for us as it could have been.  The cake was light, moist and very good.
