new product

I'm always trying to come up with new ideas for products or designs. These butter bombs are my answer to the bath bomb craze.  I used a standard bath bomb recipe then added cocoa butter, shea butter, jojoba oil and vit E to make the bombs very moisturizing.  After molding them and letting them dry I put the in cup cake wrappers, then into clear bags with a sparkly ribbon just for fun.  They sold well at our first show.  What a fun hostess gift or stocking stuffer these would be.

shower time

As I wrote last week our family is expecting a new little one.  For the shower I made favors of goats milk soap.  I placed the mini bars in plastic bags and added a header thanking everyone for attending from the proud mama and daddy.  A plastic teddy bear pic from the dollar store added a cute touch.  The guest seemed pleased and I think they will love the gentle moisturizing soap.

succulent favor

I recently attended a Master gardeners class and they used grouping of these succulents as table decorations.  They gave them to everyone as a favors at the end of the day.  Simple as can be the tin cans are wrapped in brown paper, a strip of burlap, tied with raffia and a tag of hand made paper with seeds embedded in it.  The plant is in a paper cup and the can has gravel in the bottom for stability.

lovely parting gifts

I like to have small gifts to give company when we entertain.  It doesn't need to be anything fancy, I just want my friends or family to know I appreciate them.  For our recent domino night I used brown paper lunch bags to hold salt scrubs for the ladies and butter mints for the guys.  I stamped the bags with an angel stamp, folded over the top and stapled on either a yarn or tulle bow.  It didn't take 20 minutes, less than $20.00 for 10 gifts  and I think my guest really enjoyed them.

party favors

When I went to my friends party last week i forgot to mention this fun little treat she had for everyone.  Inside was a lip balm soap and lotion samples from our company.  It could have been anything from a picture frame a candle or a cookie, it's the thought that counts.  So look around and see what you can give away as "your lovely parting gift" for your next gathering.  Wrap it up in a pretty bag with a bow and your guests will be completely blown away by your cleverness.
